Privacy Policy

YK Handdrawn is an AI visual-notes service that turns text and documents into hand-drawn visual summaries. In this policy, “YK Handdrawn,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of this service.

YK Handdrawn is currently available as a public beta and is operated under the YK Handdrawn brand. Current contact information is provided in the “Changes and contact” section below.

We collect information you provide when you create and use an account, including your email address, profile details supplied by you or your sign-in provider, and authentication records.

When you create a visual, we process the text you enter or the text extracted in your browser from a document. We also store generation settings, the generated blueprint, status, timestamps, credit usage, and related history. Uploaded source files are read in your browser; the original file is not uploaded as a stored file, but its extracted text is sent to the service.

We receive technical and security data such as request timestamps, error logs, a protected hash derived from an IP address for rate limiting, and a keyed fingerprint derived from a verified email address to prevent repeated welcome-credit claims. We do not store the plain IP address or the plain email address in these anti-abuse records.

We use service providers to run YK Handdrawn. Depending on the deployment configuration, these may include Supabase for authentication, database, and private file storage; Creem for prompt-safety screening and payment services; Zhipu AI for text analysis; Kie.ai or another configured image-generation provider for image prompts and outputs; Vercel for application hosting; and Google Analytics for aggregate website-usage measurement.

We send providers only the data needed for their role. Text-analysis providers may receive source text. Image-generation providers may receive the drawing prompt and may return or temporarily host the generated image. Their processing, security, location, and retention practices are also governed by their own agreements and privacy policies.

When Creem moderation is enabled, Creem receives the source text before generation together with pseudonymous internal user and generation identifiers. The moderation result is used to allow or block the request. Creem may separately process account, checkout, payment, tax, and support information when you use a Creem payment flow.

We do not sell personal information or use source content to build advertising profiles. YK Handdrawn does not use your source content to train its own AI models. Third-party AI providers process submitted content under their applicable service terms and privacy policies. During the public beta, avoid submitting confidential, highly sensitive, or regulated information.

Generated images: images copied into YK Handdrawn's private storage are available for 30 minutes. After expiry, the service hides them and schedules deletion. Cleanup can take slightly longer during an outage or processing backlog. A provider may keep its own temporary copy under its retention policy.

Source text and generation records: source text, blueprints, settings, and history records remain in your account until you delete the record or the account, unless we must keep limited information for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Deleting an image after 30 minutes does not automatically delete these text records.

Account and security records: account information remains while the account is active. Short-lived rate-limit records are routinely cleared. After account deletion, we retain a keyed, non-public fingerprint derived from the verified email address, without the plain email or account ID, to prevent the same eligibility from receiving welcome credits repeatedly. Other security and transaction records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to prevent abuse, reconcile credits, and meet legal obligations.

We use essential cookies or similar browser storage to keep you signed in, protect account sessions, remember your cookie preference, and provide the service. These essential technologies cannot be disabled through our cookie settings.

Google Analytics is optional and is not loaded unless you select “Accept analytics.” If accepted, it helps us understand visits, page usage, approximate device and location information, and how people find the service. Google Analytics may store or read analytics identifiers in your browser and receive technical information such as your IP address. We do not use advertising cookies.

You can reject optional analytics without losing access to YK Handdrawn. Use “Cookie settings” in the site footer to change your choice at any time. Rejecting analytics stops future collection through our site and attempts to remove existing Google Analytics cookies from this domain.

You can review generation history and delete individual records. You can permanently delete your account and associated account data yourself from the Account page. You may also ask to access, correct, export, restrict, or object to processing where applicable law gives you that right. You may withdraw consent for processing based on consent without affecting earlier processing.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. If you believe we have not handled a request properly, you may have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

We use access controls, private storage, row-level database policies, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Their published terms and privacy notices describe their processing practices, and where required we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

YK Handdrawn is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are below the minimum age required in your country. If we learn that we collected a child's information without required permission, we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the product, providers, and legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
